Searching for Students

To access a student profile to review individual student data, use the search box at the upper right hand corner.

If you do not see what you expect to see, contact your district ion leader or submit a support ticket.

  1. To search for any student you have access to in ion, place your cursor in the search box and begin typing the first few letters of the student's name - either first or last. Search results will display in a drop down. Click or use your arrow keys to choose the student.  DO NOT PRESS ENTER.
  2. If you are a teacher, you will see a "Roster" button that can be clicked to change to "Teams" and "MTSS." and will filter your students accordingly.
    1. Roster = Students on your roster / courses.
    2. Teams = Students that are on a Grade Level Team or House.
    3. MTSS = Students that are in your intervention groups and/or on your Caseload in Case Management.

After clicking on the student, you will be redirected to the Student Profile page.

To search for a student currently in your Simplified Home Page list, place your cursor in the search box and begin typing the first few letters of the student's name - either first or last.  DO NOT PRESS ENTER.  Search results will filter the list. After clicking on the student, you will be redirected to the Student Profile page.
